some programming languages like c, c++, java, .net, pascal, cobol etc. ABAP
is also like that. The full form of ABAP is Advance business application
programming. ABAP is a programming language which is used to make SAP ERP.
All
language contains set of statement used for developing application(packages)

Now the question is what is packages??
So
packages is a type of application which is already developed. No need for any
improvement. Like its ready to use product.
